"So that you may know one another" — our differences are a source of strength, not division, reflecting the Quranic wisdom on human diversity.
We hold that civic engagement and public service are acts of faith in action.
We are dedicated to advancing equity and dismantling systemic racism in all its forms.
The MPSN Summer Fellowship is a one-of-a-kind experience that brings together talented young American Muslims for two months in Washington, DC
MPSN provides room and board and an inspirational two-month program for Muslims who are working in a summer public service job in the Washington, DC, area. For two months every summer, between ten and twenty Fellows live cooperatively as one group, sharing rooms, cooking duties, and everything else housemates do together.
With DC as the backdrop, there are endless places to explore together — from monuments and museums to lectures and coffee shops. The MPSN fellowship provides free of charge living space in the shared MPSN residence and all meals for the months of June and July.
The program is built on three pillars: a specialized curriculum on Islam and public service, cooperative living, and career mentoring from our extensive alumni network. Together, these components create an experience unlike any other available to young American Muslim professionals.
June 1 – July 31, 2026. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis from November 2025 through March 31, 2026.
